In the beginning, Tom, his mother and a friend, started Open House Estate Sales in 1982.  Since that time, the company has grown to include over 20 dedicated employees; many have been with us since the very early years.  Their over 100 combined years of experience at sorting, set up, pricing and selling has given Open House Estate Sales the advantage of helping our clients get the maximum dollar amount for their possessions.   Our staff takes great pride on our level of service and successes for almost 3 decades.

A few years ago, we acquired Finders Keepers, an estate sale company with a reputation as strong as our own in the Waukesha and Lake Country areas.  The combined companies now routinely handle sales all over southeastern Wisconsin and beyond.  We have handled sales in the northern Wisconsin Woods to Illinois border.  Our Links section has highlights from some of our more unusual past sales. Open House Estate Sales hosts liquidation sales averaging over 100 homes per year.
